Wedding trends for this year are being highly influenced by the American economy . As a result of the uncertain financial climate, couples are opting to have smaller and less expensive weddings. There are many ways to cut down on wedding expenses that do not include cutting out the magical appeal and and white-wedding dream.
Vintage is in this year, which means you can save a tonne of money by wearing your mothers or grandmothers dress. It may have been a classic dress that can be re-used easily with some new jewelry, shoes or other accents and accessories. Having a Caribbean wedding is a fabulous way to save money and you can take that vintage dress and cut it to a length that is more suitable for the Caribbean climate, tie a bright coloured sash around the waste - and voila you have a new & improved “Caribbean” style wedding dress.

The crowning jewel of any wedding reception is the wedding cake. Make it look and taste fabulous!
Although there are many flavors to choose from, try to pick one that most of your guests will enjoy. The style of your wedding cake should reflect you and your own flair.
Styling your cake is not so difficult, if you answer a few questions, first. Is this a destination wedding? What season will it be? What colors will you have in you wedding? Are you formal and traditional, or do you want something more whimsical? Answering any of these questions could give you guidance in choosing a style for your wedding cake.
Consider the look of your wedding gown. Is it lacey, floral, or more simple and streamlined? Would you like to see lacework and flowers on your cake, or would you prefer something more sleek and sophisticated?
Traditionally, Brides used magazines to collect ideas for cakes. Nowadays, websites can provide this functionality by allowing you to search for images and get inspiration online. Whichever way you use, take these images with you when you go to buy your cake.

Every little girl envisions herself as a fairy tale princess at one time or another. One thing she looks forward to is meeting her Prince Charming. When it happens and the wedding planning begins, many brides want to recapture that feeling of being a fairy tale princess with a fairy tale or Cinderella theme. It is not difficult in such a setting to enchant and delight your guests by giving them fairy tale/Cinderella wedding favors.
Wedding favors are a new tradition that has gained in popularity in recent years. These small, inexpensive items are given to guests to thank them for coming out and making this the most magical day in a couple’s lives. They also provide a memento to remind the guests of the happiness and joy shared with the lucky couple on their special day.
Cinderella is by far the most popular of the fairy tales that have the heroine meeting and marrying her Prince Charming. For this reason, Cinderella themed items for giving as wedding favors abound. Candles shaped like the pumpkin coach, a glass slipper shaped bottle opener, and many other elements from this classic tale can be brought to life with the Cinderella wedding favors one chooses.

Every bride wants her wedding to be the most memorable and perfect occasion. She has her theme chosen and colors arranged. She has worked every detail out so that everyone who attends her wedding will remember it fondly, and the entire event is designed to make her fantasies come to life. One way to add a touch of enchantment to the occasion and make it more memorable for the guests is to give them personalized wedding favors or place favors into personalized favor boxes.
Wedding favors have become a traditional part of the reception and party that follows the ceremony. These are small, inexpensive items that are given to the guests as a way thank them for coming and making the day as nearly perfect as humanly possible for the bride and groom. These items also make good keepsakes for the guests to have as reminders of the beauty of the event and the happiness shared with the couple on their special day.

A wedding is a special and one time event. A memorable and inexpensive wedding is something we all want, so a personal wedding will be one that truly means something to the couple. By enlisting the aid of family members and friends the couple will ensure that everyone will feel that they are part of the special event, and they will no doubt appreciate that you trust them with this once in a lifetime event.
People get married and then start to build a family, therefore it is important to remember that the wedding, although special for obvious reasons, is only one day. So deciding to keep the future in mind and planning your wedding within a budget is a wise decision. A budgeted wedding can still be beautiful, unique and special.
Making the choice to have an inexpensive wedding is smart if the future of your family will benefit. Besides, by having your families and friends help you give everyone the opportunity to be together and to bond more with each other. Plus they are getting to be part of your big day and not just as spectators.

When you are planning your wedding, you want your guests to have a wonderful time at your wedding and reception. One of the small ways that you can make this happen is to present each guest with their own personalized favor. Personalization adds a certain value to your favors for your wedding reception or shower. It helps remind each guest of this important day in your life and how they shared in it. It lets them know that you thought enough of them to give them something that you took the time and expense to have made just for them. Personalized wedding favors also add that touch of elegance that every bride wants to feel on her day.
Personalized wedding favor boxes are another fun, useful, and fairly inexpensive gift for your wedding reception or shower guests. They come in many sizes, colors, and shapes. They are just right to hold anything from cuff links, to candy, to candles. They make a wonderful addition to your wedding shower or reception as they tell your guests that you appreciate them being there with you to share in your special day.

When a couple is planning their wedding, most things seem to revolve around the bride, but there are some things that are for the groom only. His selection of the best man and his choice or choices of a groomsman or groomsmen is very important.
The groomsmen have very special duties to perform for the wedding. During Anglo-Saxon days, they were bodyguards for the bride, and sometimes protected the groom from angry family members if he chose to kidnap his bride for the wedding. Now days, they have a different set of duties, some of which include standing up with the groom, helping plan the bachelor party, escorting the bridesmaids to the wedding and reception, dancing with the bridesmaids and other single females at the reception, perhaps giving a speech or toast at the reception, and many other things to help the groom from getting all stressed out before his wedding.

Weddings have had candles since man can remember. At first they were a necessity(there were no electric lights), but now people choose to have candles at their wedding because there is nothing more romantic or elegant than candlelight at a wedding or wedding reception. That is why candle wedding favors and elegant wedding favors are so popular. Candle wedding favors will help your guests experience the romance and the happiness of your wedding time and again when they are lit.
Elegant wedding favors are like simple works of art. They are classy and help set off the decor of your wedding reception. Using elegant wedding favors shows your guests that you are willing to show your appreciation of them in an expensive looking fashion without being too expensive. And every bride wants to feel elegant on her wedding day. It makes her feel like Cinderella to have beautiful candles and elegant decor. And there is even a Cinderella shaped wedding coach candle.
Elegant wedding favors are usually made of glass, silver, gold, or beads. Your guests will think they are very classy items to say “Thank You” to them for sharing your wedding day. They will feel very special.

Winter weddings /Christmas weddings bring a lot of joy and happiness to a season that is already full of joy, even though it is usually one of the dreariest times of the year. Christmas season is already full of the spirit of giving, so when you plan your winter wedding/Christmas party, remember your winter wedding favors/Christmas party favors for your wedding guests and members of your wedding party.
Your winter wedding favors/Christmas party favors can warm the hearts of your guests (as well as their bodies, as with a nice bag of tea, personalized for your wedding). The favors also let your guests know how much you appreciate them being a part of your very special day.
Something as simple as a snowflake place card holder or a crystal angel says your thoughts about them are glad they are there with you.
Key chains with an angel or a snowman on them or a beautiful holiday candle say you care.
A fun winter wedding favor/Christmas party favor would be a personalized bag of sugar cookie or muffin mix, or cappuccino mix.
